LMSW
I work with clients navigating mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, grief and loss, caregiving stress, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, and trauma recovery. As a therapist, I aim to be warm and authentic, and I bring a grounded sense of humor to my work. My approach is psychodynamic, with an emphasis on understanding relationship patterns and the ways past experiences shape present-day challenges. I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to each client, and I integrate tools from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based approaches as needed.
I studied psychology and education at Barnard College in New York City and earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. My clinical experience spans a range of settings, from intensive crisis work at Bellevue Hospital to outpatient therapy. I've also received specialized training in grief therapy through the Austin Center for Grief and Loss. If you're seeking a therapist who balances warmth and compassion with thoughtfulness and accountability, I may be a strong fit.
